Notice for Anyone Using Dolphin Browser   12/13/2016

I've discovered there's a particular bug that occurs when using Dolphin Browser here that autofills your username and password... into a thread's title and tag fields when you create or edit one. I advise anyone using Dolphin Browser at the moment to discontinue using it here until either Dolphin fixes their autofill so it doesn't do that, or until IP.Board releases an update that reverses what causes that to happen.

  1. Review: osu! Osu! (pronounced oss) is a very widespread japanese circle rhythm game in which you click circles and hold sliders to the beat of the songs that you have downloaded, known as beatmaps. I'm gonna go deep though. Here's a guide for mouse players, tablet players, and beatmappers. Be advised: spoiler alerts are ahead. If you have never played this game, I would recommend not checking the first box. Mouse players! Mouse players, stick from Easy to Hard diffs. Disable the raw input feature osu! provides for you, as it will become suprisingly harder to play with raw input. Increase your sensitivity a bit, but not too high to the point where you will start losing your combo (necessary for a Full Combo). Try the following beatmaps, as these are my personal recommendations: Speed change training: https://osu.ppy.sh/b/519769Apocalyptica -Hall of the Mountain King [Normal] Sudden speed change training: https://osu.ppy.sh/b/456704 ginkiha - Oriens [Normal] Stream training: https://osu.ppy.sh/b/207088SHK - Identity Part 4 (140 BPM) Tablet players! STICK TO WHATEVER YOUR HAND IS COMFORTABLE STRETCHING TO. It might be hard to play on a tiny tablet area, but imagine using the full area and epic failing! I would not recommend mouse mode, as it is pretty much just like pen mode, but with full tablet area and your point might be somewhere else, but your cursor isn't where the point on your pen is. Here are my recommendations (they might be overrated) Responsiveness: https://osu.ppy.sh/b/437202ginkiha - Oriens [Expert] Assassin sliders: https://osu.ppy.sh/s/83560DJ S3RL - T-T-Techno [Technonationalism] HDHR Insane: https://osu.ppy.sh/b/434166 ginkiha- dawn(ginkiha hardcore remix) [insane] 284 BPM: https://osu.ppy.sh/s/71804GUMI - Kamisama Nejimaki [Death] Beatmappers: Time you dang song properly, or your hitsounds will sound like crap. (okay, sorry for using that word.) But I'm not kidding either. Your hitsounds will sound misplaced if you don't time the song properly, so it's not a good idea to think a beatmap is 175 BPM, and not configure it until someone comes and says "Hey newbie, it's 180 BPM." We all hate that. Also, Easy through Hard, use all spacing on Easy and Normal, but there is an exception on Hard if you are deliberately trying to design the level towards that difficulty. Insane levels have some spacing, some jumps. It's in between. Expert levels are a total free for all. You can pretty much do whatever the heck you want with these. Just make sure the patterns make sense, or your Expert level will likely not get ranked! Multiplayer: Head 2 Head: Self explanatory. You against multiple players in the room. Tag Coop: Tag mode is when you and other players participate in different combos, so one player does a combo, and the next player does the next combo, and so forth. Overall, this game is a 9.5/10 for me. It is a really great concept in current rhythm games to this day, and personally I like it just to prove myself a challenge on some levels.
  2. This means that you know applejack well (good!), but the thing is, the other ponies might cause EKP. I don't know though, as I've never developed a tulpa.
