Me personally? I've been playing the buck outta the new Sleep Token album (to the surprise of nopony in the discord xP).
Even in Arcadia, both the single and album has me in a death grip rn. The album is so intriguing and has me so inspired musically, the different techniques and lyrics are just... WOW. Already at almost 600 plays on the album, 130 being on "Even in Arcadia" itself LOL

mostly strawberry jam music (because of course >.>), probably just all the heartside tracks are most played:
Blueberry Bay (Ebb and Flow Mix)
Raspberry Roots (Tree of Life Mix)
Mango Mesa (Relics of the Past Mix)
Starfruit Supernova (Pillars of Creation Mix)
Passionfruit Pantheon (Apotheosis Mix)

idk why exactly but they're all just, really nice (as with all the strawberry jam songs, just like the original celeste soundtrack..)

I've been listening to a lot of stuff from the band Modern Baseball. Re-Do is currently my favorite track from them. I found them through Spotify recommendations after listening to a lot of The Front Bottoms, and it's really just a vibe. I highly recommend TFB as well! They make some good as heck tunes.

Another band I've been listening to lately is The Foxies ( :3 ), and I originally discovered them when I was out at harmonycon this year; originally we thought we wouldn't be able to make it to the convention's concert so we were looking for other stuff to do that night, and they had a show going that night. Of course, we ended up making the con work, but I still checked out their music and it's heckin good. What drew me to them initially was the name (if you know you know) but I stayed for the music!

Only kind of related, but I've found it hard to get into music not attached to some form of media(sometimes I listen to a bit of Vylet Pony's stuff, and what vul does with the AI mlp voices, but the latter feels like the middle ground)

I guess I'm wondering if there's some way to at least explore more of it

A way to explore more music? Are you a member of the discord server by any chance? I post a lot of different music there (at like 600+ songs posted right now iirc, would need to ask Tav). And if what i post isn't to your liking, a load of other ponies post stuff there too!

Often times, services like Spotify and Apple Music have good algorithms for general music discovery. If you pick out a song and let it keep suggesting new songs, it does a great job at recommending you new songs. Vinyl's post about our Discord server definitely shows good places to start for that.

However, if you're wanting to explore more pony music in general, the cool thing about the fandom is that there's always new music releasing daily, even from entirely new artists with entirely new ideas, so you get a lot of selection to choose from.

As a pony musician, I initially got into brony/pony music back in 2012 through a compilation album project called Balloon Party. Back then pony music wasn't as easy to find other than through YouTube recommendations.
Though, ever since, many more songs have been released and more people have been dedicated to cataloguing and organizing these into discoverable places.

Here are some of my suggestions from where to start discovering new pony music:

• Horse Music Herald - Every time new songs get released in the brony/pony communities, someone on this blog writes a post.
• Ponies at Dawn, Equinity, or A State of Sugar - Pony compilation albums made by brony/furry artists
  • Note that music on these albums may be more pony-adjacent than pony-related.
• Pony Music Wiki - Currently maintained as an archived database of all known pony music.
• Pony.fm - A pony music hosting website, sorta like Soundcloud but pony.
• PonyvilleFM or Brony Radio Germany - 24/7 pony internet radio stations with DJs and live events.

Only noticed your reply a bit after the first one, but it looks interesting(did know about Ponies at Dawn, but I kind of felt out of place with the detailed labeling the music has). By any chance is there some special bits and pieces that would help looking through the websites linked?
