i.e. how would you describe the difference between (past/current/hypothetical) human you and (current/future) pony you?

i personally don't feel qualified to answer that question, but when pressed i go for something like "my goal is to hold the genuine belief that i am a pony", which i know is very much a cop-out :p

Pony me is everything that I want to be.

I want to be more social unlike human me. More independent, show more self-care with a better appearance, have confidence and be able to be in public without needing to "reward" myself for it or waiting until dark. To be able to speak clearly without constantly fumbling over my words.
The need to relentlessly work to live has drained the energy for anything creative, which I have always wished I could be doing. I am constantly fatigued and falling asleep throughout the day as of late.
Imposition through the files allows me to feel more at home in my body. Feeling my tail is such a secure and comforting feeling, for instance.

Ideally, I'd be living my current life with the only difference being that I am pony me. It feels as though I'm being held back or imprisoned in a human body. Very unpleasant.
I'm also excited to see where tech will help with this. If we will live to see BCI and prosthetics advance enough to achieve what I'm striving for.
If that also helps us create an Equestria we can go to, even better.

To me, being a pony means remaining true to yourself in spite of the challenges and dangers you might face, and to do so with the help of friends.

Ponies are small creatures in a big world, but by working together and lifting each other up, they can achieve great things.

Every pony is unique and flawed in their own ways. Friendship helps a pony's uniqueness shine. Ponies thrive with cooperation and genuine kindness towards others, but fall apart easily when communication fails and distrust grows. Try to see the good in each other. Seek harmony.~
